This workshop will give an overview of GM crops being grown, show examples of GMO contamination problems, highlight attempts to stop their proliferation and assign liability for GMO contamination, and discuss strategies to prevent contamination and initiatives to label GM foods. The Non-GMO Project, an initiative to verify the non-GMO status of natural and organic foods, will also be discussed.
