PLEASE REGISTER AT THE DOOR FOR THURSDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY & SUNDAY – there are still ample Keynote Forum tickets available.

How to Register:

  • Pay-at-the-door by cash or cheque (full prices)
  • Pay nothing by simply walking into the Guelph University Centre, Saturday or Sunday, Jan. 28-29 to enjoy ‘A Free Organic Expo.’ Speaker workshops are all “paid” components – see brochure.

PARKING + FINDING THE UNIVERSITY CENTRE & HOTELS

  • Guelph Campus (+ the major building called the University Centre), Stone Rd. & Gordon St., northeast corner; please leave your vehicle at the hotel and walk to the campus
  • Best Western Royal Brock Hotel (old Ramada) at the southeast corner;
  • Delta Guelph Hotel at the southwest corner;
  • OMAFRA Building at the northwest corner. EFO seminars here (Jan. 26-27);
  • Days Inn is less than 1/2 km south of the U. on the west side of Gordon St.
  • Buy a paid parking pass which we offer at $12 for Thursday and $12 for Friday: recommended. Parking passes are not available on-site (must be pre-purchased and mailed to you). Otherwise: parking – take your chances.
  • Saturday-Sunday parking, Jan. 28-29…… is free !

CLIMATE CHANGE CHARETTE/Student: $10.00 + 13% HST= $11.30(student card will be requested)

FRIDAY, January 27: Note: if a single person is registering, please choose one seminar for the morning (A or B) and one for the afternoon (C or D). However, if you are registering 2 or more people, you must specifically tell us which name is registering for which seminar, because without this important information, our registrar will prepare incorrect badges. Thank you for your consideration, by telling us who is registering for what.

Seminar C – Part 2 of Successful Agriculture – WHOLE FARM APPROACH: 1:15 pm – 4:15 pm - $50+13%=6.50 HST

FRIDAY LATE AFTERNOON & EVENING
The Organic Food & Wine Dinner – the social event of the entire weekend: 4:10 – 7:10 pm (the ticket is good for a delicious organic meal + one glass organic wine). NOTE: Final Dinner seating is 5:15 pm—please! respect this arrival/seating time due to very tight scheduling – SOLD OUT – each (limited to 200 tickets in the Basement Level, Peter Clark Hall in the U.C.) – meet the presenters, farmers, traders, students. Attending this Organic Dinner is a good career move because of the ‘excellent networking.’
Keynote Forum – LOTS OF TICKETS LEFT: How Green Is My Valley? 7.30 pm – 9.30 pm. A public discussion on farming, stewardship and inspiration featuring presenters Miriam MacGillis and Margaret Webb, along with moderator Tarrah Young. There is even an open microphone at the Forum, for your questions of all kinds – $10.00+13% HST=$11.30 – each (don’t delay – Forum sometimes sells out)

SATURDAY, January 28 (parking free but the close-by lots near the University Centre will fill up early)

General Workshop Registration/Adult: This registration gives you full choice among all of the 20 Saturday workshops -: $60+13%HST=$67.80
General Workshop Registration/Student: $15.00+13% HST=$16.95 – This registration gives you full choice among all of the 20 Saturday workshops – student card will be required. In recognition of the cost of being a student, this $15 is steady right up to Jan. 28.

SUNDAY, January 29 (parking free)

General Workshop Registration/Adult: Your choice among any of the 8 x 2 hour sessions $30+13% HST=$33.90 and at the door
General Workshop Registration/Student: $10.00+13% HST=$11.30 - this registration gives you full choice among all of the 8 x 2-hour Sunday seminars – student card will be required. In recognition of the cost of being a student, this $10 is steady right up to Jan. 29.
