The Canadian Urban Institute in collaboration with the Cities Centre, University of Toronto present: Young Reporters for the Environment is an international writing and photography contest for youth. Ghoti Studios of Waterloo is helping create a series of short films about the organic industry in Canada. The first of these short films is a co-production with Mishkat Productions. It features long-time organic farming guru David Cohlmyer of Cookstown Greens. Our tenth annual Halton Eco Festival will take place on Saturday, April 17 from 10 am to 5 pm and on Sunday, April 18 from 11 am to 4 pm at the Glen Abbey Rec Centre on Third Line in Oakville.
