After having reach a plateau this summer, market pressure remains very strong. The organic market continues to grow and especially demand for organic animal products: milk, chicken, eggs, pork. Therefore, demand for feed grains is not met by the limited supply. In 2010, some organic farmers went back to conventional production. Today, conversions to organic grain production are rare as conventional production is very profitable. In addition, the summer drought of 2012 in North America will limit supply.
